Frequently Asked Questions

Life coaching is a transformative journey that takes you from gaining valuable insights to taking meaningful actions in your life.

First, Dr. Rashmin will assess your current situation and identify your desired outcome. Once your goals are established, she will address any barriers or obstacles that may be preventing you from achieving them, and develop strategies to propel you forward.

Dr. Rashmin employs a range of effective methodologies, including Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and the TGROW coaching model. Additionally, she leverages her diverse life experiences, such as entrepreneurship and addiction recovery, along with her extensive background in coaching and personal development, to provide comprehensive support.

Therapy primarily focuses on addressing mental health concerns and transforming dysfunctional behaviors into functional ones. It often involves delving into past experiences to gain insight and understanding.

On the other hand, life coaching is centered around moving forward and creating a desired future. It can be likened to a journey from point A to point B in a car, where the coaching process helps determine the destination (point B), identify the optimal route, and address any obstacles or limiting beliefs that may hinder progress.

While there may be some similarities in exploring the psyche between certain therapy and life coaching approaches, my coaching methodology specifically targets rewriting old core beliefs in a focused and precise manner. Therapy, in contrast, tends to primarily focus on delving into past experiences.

It’s important to note that life coaching is not intended to replace professional psychological assistance. If you are experiencing mental health issues, it is recommended to consult with a doctor as the initial step in seeking appropriate support.

I currently offer both therapy and life coaching, and I have found that there is no difference in the quality of sessions. Regardless of whether you choose therapy or life coaching, you can expect the same level of care, professionalism, and commitment to helping you achieve your goals.

Just as you wouldn’t go to a supermarket and ask for an arbitrary discount, I have a structured pricing model for my coaching services. The pricing is designed to align with the number of sessions required to help you achieve your objectives. As we progress through the coaching process, if more sessions are needed, the price per session will be adjusted accordingly, offering you a reduced rate. This ensures that you receive the support you need while maintaining a fair pricing structure.

If you believe that someone would benefit from coaching but they have psychological or mental health issues, it is important to prioritize their well-being and refer them to a medical or psychological professional. Coaching is not a substitute for professional therapy or treatment.

It’s essential to recognize that individuals must be willing and ready to engage in coaching for it to be effective. If you find yourself having to book a consultation on behalf of someone else, it may indicate that they are not yet prepared for coaching.

In such situations, it is recommended that you focus on your own life and well-being, rather than becoming overly invested in trying to fix or rescue the person you are trying to help. This is especially true when dealing with individuals struggling with addiction, as codependency can be a risk. Encouraging them to seek appropriate professional help and supporting them in their journey is the most helpful approach.
